A couple of weeks back, New York Mets manager Luis Rojas told reporters that Michael Conforto and Jeff McNeil should be ready for action by the end of June.
While much hasn’t changed with Conforto, it looks like McNeil is ahead of schedule. Luis Rojas informed the media that the second baseman could be ready in one to two weeks.
During the injury, infielders such as Jonathan Villar and Jose Peraza have stepped in and stepped up to the occasion. However, it’s time to get the “Bench Mob” back on the bench and serving as depth again.
