Alonso Hits First HR of Season (Video)

Pete Alonso cut the lead down to one in the bottom of the ninth when he laced a 2-2 pitch and put it over the left field wall.

With the HR, Alonso moved into fourth place in the franchise HR list, passing HoJo with 193 long balls. He’s also now just one RBI short of 500 in his sixth Major League season.
