Frazier crashes the picnic

The Mets got on the board early with the help of an Amed Rosario single, Michael Conforto double, and then a Todd Frazier 3-run home run. Frazier secured the lead when he took pitcher Jeff Hoffman deep over the left field wall in the bottom half of the first inning.

He would also bring in Amed Rosario with a 2-out RBI double in the 5th, driving in his fourth run of the day.

The veteran 3rd baseman is now batting .265 with 5 doubles, 6 home runs and 20 RBI’s while going 2-4 in today’s contest.

The Mets would end up winning the game 6-1, taking the 3-game series against the Rockies.

Over his last 7 games, Frazier has 7 hits in his 21 at-bats, 5 runs scored, 3 walks, with 2 home runs and 7 RBI’s. His slash line over those 7 games sit at .333/.440/.667.

In his last 15 games, the veteran 3rd baseman is 19 for 54 with 13 runs scored, 7 walks, with 4 home runs and 12 RBI’s. He’s maintained a .352/.435/.630 slash line during that 15 game stretch.
